Moby Watermill is a filmmaker, crafter, and art director whose whimsical work is heavily inspired by the fairytales and folklore with which she grew up.
Born in the Black Forest region of Germany, Moby spent her childhood in the woods and waters of Germany and Norway before moving to the United States.
She attended San Francisco Art Institute and Prague Film School, earning a diploma in directing for film, before earning a BFA from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in Film & Television with a minor in Animal Studies.
Moby currently works as a freelance art director & sfx artist in New York City and manages a Japanese stationery store in the East Village.
Outside of film, Moby spends her time writing letters at tea shops, foraging for unique finds, and floating in the nearest river with a head full of fantasy.
