As a filmmaker, I wish to create normalized romances between same-sex couples, where there is no homophobia, no “coming out,” and nothing out of the ordinary about being attracted to the same gender. I believe that by never mentioning queerness in a film’s world, it creates space for a new type of story to exist.

I was challenged with visualizing romantic scenes that didn’t involve my characters touching. I hand-crafted the background visuals and props.
